rofessional dancer with international fame, tango instructor and choreographer, she graduated from the Profesorado Nacional de Danza Clásica y Contemporánea (National Institution of Classical and Contemporary Dance).
Her first steps in tango were in 1987 but she fully devoted to this dance as from 1989. She studied with the best teachers of tango dancing of that time, including Gloria and
Eduardo Arquimbau
,
Gustavo Naveira
and
Olga Besio
, Mingo and Ester Pugliese and Antonio Todaro, among others.
She has worked as dancer in La Galeria del Tango Argentino at the mythical neighborhood of Boedo and was starred in different documentaries and movies impersonating Evita.
She was choreography assistant to the famous maestro
Juan Carlos Copes
at the show
Orquesta
in 1995 in which she also appeared as dancer. She joined the TangoX2 company in 1995 and 1996. In 1997, along with
Osvaldo Zotto
, she formed one of the most important dancing teams in tango until May 2008. The well-known Spanish singer Julio Iglesias summoned them in 1999 to work with him until May 2008 and, later, Lorena continued until November of the same year.
She appeared in the documentary made by the RAI,
A Passo Di Tango
. The Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra summoned them for some performances in which they danced for 50.000 people in the city of Los Angeles, California. They were also invited to the Buenos Aires Tango festival in France 2, at the Théâtre National de Chaillot in Paris and appeared at the most famous festivals of the world like Naples, Madrid, Sitges, Granada, Roma, Genoa, Torino, Bologna, Hamburg, Hanover, Miami, Florianopolis and Buenos Aires.
They danced at the most important theaters abroad such as the Metropolitan Opera House of New York, the Royal Albert Hall of London, the Luna Park of Buenos Aires, the Paris Opera, among others.
They also joined the TangoX2 company in their two shows
Una noche de tango
and
Perfumes de tango
with which they visited England, Germany, Italy and the United States, besides presenting
Perfumes de tango
in the city of Mar del Plata in January 2001.
They, Lorena and Osvaldo, won the Leonide Massine award in the city of Positano (Italy) for their dancing career.

She was guest artist at the Tour Baile Tango in Italy in July in August 2009. She traveled throughout Europe because of her teaching and show business activity in cities like Genève (Switzerland), Leuven in Belgium, Rome, Avellino, Salerno, Taranto, Trieste and Modena (Italy).
She appeared as guest artist at the Festival of Florianopolis 2010. She was also member of the board at the Campeonato del Mundo (World Championship) for several years. In April and May 2012 she made a tour to give courses at the tango festivals in Amsterdam, Porto, Ankara (Turkey) Firenze and special seminars in the cities of Naples and Genève. In September and October she appeared at the Tango Festival in Sydney, Australia, with her partner Oscar Martinez Pey.
In Buenos Aires she teaches at seminars as guest instructor in a large number of academias.
