orn in the neighborhood of La Boca, she is an artist that approaches several aspects connected with tango. Her style is like that coming from the outskirts and she regards Tita Merello as a an inspirer and model.

She has had a solid training in vocal technique and singing with María Rosa Yorio, Nora Faiman, Laura Manzini, Gabriela Lamalfa. She attended dancing tango classes with Federico Costantino, Mónica and Néstor Castillo, Juan Pablo Barbutti. Furthermore she studied classical dance, theater, ear training and music theory.

She appeared in several tango festivals, among them: Festival Jazz de Villa Gesell (2006), II Festival del Tango of La Boca (2011), XXVIII Festival Nacional de Tango La Falda (Córdoba, 2011), Tango Festival of Valentín Alsina (2013) and at the VII and IX Festival Internacional de Tango of Justo Daract (San Luis, 2011 and 2013).

She released her first CD in 2001, entitled Lulú, tanto gusto… no hay de qué, with arrangements and musical direction by Orlando Gómez and Daniel Berardi, which was presented by Dr. Luis Alposta.

Among her various appearances in tango venues we can mention her performances at a homage paid for the 76th anniversary of Carlos Gardel’s death in the Casa Museo Carlos Gardel (2011), at the Teatro Cervantes at the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Academia Porteña del Lunfardo (2013), and appearances at the Centro Cultural de la Cooperación, Centro Cultural Jorge Luis Borges, Centro Cultural San Martín, Clásica y Moderna, Palais de Glace, Esquina Homero Manzi, Café Tortoni, Torquato Tasso, Café Homero.

Her second CD Al gran pueblo argentino… Lulú, published in 2004, was arranged and recorded under the musical direction of the above musicians and was presented by Jorge Waisburd. The third one, with the same musical partners, and presented by Oscar del Priore, was released in 2007 and was entitled Argentina… Flor de mina.

She also staged her own show Che Lulú which had a season between 2011 and 2014. In it besides presenting her own shows, she offered a stage for the performance of different artists, among them: Lidia Borda, Brian Chambouleyron, María Volonté, Marisa Vázquez, Jacqueline Sigaut, Lucio Arce, Hernán Genovese, Noelia Moncada, Luis Filipelli, Jesús Hidalgo, Esteban Riera, Alfredo Piro, Hernán Cucuza Castiello and many others.
