e was born in the neighborhood Tablada of the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe.

He began to sing at age seventeen with the Los Cuatro Señores del Tango quartet, which at that time included Julio Barboza (bandoneon), Francisco Tejedor (piano), Vicente Romano (double bass) and Clemente Vega (leader and violin). With them he recorded, in 1955, his first single with the tango “Y todavía te quiero”.

In 1958 he sang with the orchestra fronted by maestro Francisco Plano in which he replaced the singer Alfredo Belusi. That same year, Domingo Federico moved to Rosario to settle in that city and put together a tango orchestra with all local musicians, among them, Fumale (piano) and Malaguarnera (violin), just to mention a few.

With that music group he made his debut on July 1, on LT8 Radio Rosario and he was its vocalist for 12 years, sharing the bill with great artists and singers of that period.

With Domingo Federico, in 1965 he recorded a long-playing record with the following: “Frente a una copa”, “Cualquier cosa”, “La casa vacía”, “Ya no vale la pena”, “Al compás de tu mentira”, “Vos y yo corazón”, “Como nos cambia los años”, “La culpa es tuya”, “El sueño del pibe”, “Carta brava”, “Y no llores más” and “Motivo sentimental” for the Fuentes label in Colombia.

With that ensemble he cut around 30 recordings until, in 1970, the orchestra was disbanded.

For almost 40 years, this great singer from Rosario quit show business, but he came back in the mid- 2015 to be the vocalist of the Orquesta Retorno de Tango, which included five violins, piano, bass and a bandoneon.

In 2016 he was working with a busy schedule, with his usual feeling and ready to go back to the recording studios in case he had the opportunity.

Todo Tango is pleased to present the portrayal of this singer of the interior of our country, so recognized by his peers and by his followers.
