e wrote several short theater plays which were staged at the Florida Theater around 1925 when Manuel Jovés was there composing the music for the plays and the songs that were performed in them.

The play entitled Colores y Colorinches, co-written with José Zubiría Mansilla, premiered at that theater on June 6, 1925, was the one with widest public acclaim. It had music by the above composer like his tango “Pobre Francesita”.

Among his few songs, the tango “Copetín vos sos mi hermano” stood out which, with music by Andrés Domenech, Carlos Gardel recorded.

Based in Tucumán he kept on writing and there he published some numbers written in collaboration with the bandoneonist Miguel Buchino, the one who wrote the estilo “Mi poncho castaño”.

Firstly, he was associate of the Spanish Society of Authors.

Diego Flores was born in Madrid (Spain) on October 28, 1893 and passed away in Tucumán on July 2, 1945.
